Taco Time!

We had been moving down the west coast pretty quickly for one main reason – Mexico!  We haven’t been to Baja in one whole year and after spending an entire summer in Alaska and the PNW, warm beaches and cheap tacos sounded like a dream. We’re supposed to spend the winter in Colorado again, but just a little sunshine and sand between the toes sounded irresistible.

It took us an entire day to drive from San Diego to San Felipe, crossing at Mexicali with all the paperwork in under 15 minutes. We figured we only had a few weeks before ski team started. Of course, we got a 6 month tourist card.
