A Good Place to Linger
We had dinner one night with our friend Mandi who was supposed to be traveling by airplane with her friend Ricardo. Unfortunately, Guatemalan volcanoes and tropical storms have hindered their plans, so they rented a car and drove to Chiapas. It was fun catching up with them.
This is a great city to just hang out and take it easy. Good food. Interesting sights. Good camping. Nice people. We were also able to score 2 new tires and catch up on sleep, hot showers, bad eyebrow waxes and phone calls.
And, it only took 6 days.
By the way… just about all liquids in Mexico come in a bag. Drinks, salsa, motor oil.
What kind of camera are you guys using? You always line up some amazing subjects and perspective angles which is just skill, but the camera really grabs the colors brilliantly. I really hope that at some point you compile all these stories and photos into a book.
That bag of motor oil looks to be about the most inconvenient thing in the world.
