Sleeping in Seattle
Seattle was a little bit of a blur. We had quite a few bus projects piling up and this seemed like a good place to find the parts. Despite our lack of blog updates, we gave up our location on Instagram and some sweet invites followed.
First, we had to do some touristy stuff and headed to the market and Bublegum Alley (which is no longer there as of this writing.) We got a quick tour from our friend Allison, who we literally haven’t seen in 16 years. We met her on a ferry in the middle of the Rhine in 1999. Crazy.
Jim and Jen invited to pop our top in their backyard and use their shop. Ding! Ding! Awesome new friends who I’m pretty sure we’re going to see somewhere out on the road. If not, we’re definitely going back for Jen’s cooking!
Invite us to meet up for drinks and attend a strangers birthday party? Sure, why not! And, we’ll crash on your couch too!
All over Alaska, we were exchanging messages with Nick, who wanted to meet up while we were there. As luck would have it, he was in Ballard the same day we were. Pinball and beers it is!
Thanks to everyone who hosted/put up with us while we were here. We had a blast!
Did you guys ever meet Nacho and his owners?
