Good ‘Ole Days

My dad lives in Hitchcock – only about 20 minutes from the port in Galveston. It was an easy drive – but the bus ran poorly and twenty minutes was far enough.  It’s seems to be running on 2 cylinders at low RPM and acting herky jerky. I’ve got a bad CV joint that growls at me when I turn left. And somehow, I mangled a tie rod and never noticed it – or the resulting inner tire damage. We’ve got some electrical work to do. Rust repair… and the list goes on. Red Beard will be parked here for a little while. I’m making my parts list and digging in.

We’re supposed to be resting, so we’ll do some of that too.

Welcome to Texas. It’s like a whole other country*

they are available still, where are you located so I can direct you to the best outlet- also do you have cores? They will be rebuilt, aftermarket but pretty good. Have you looked into kits and pads or are yours toast? R
