2nd to the last picture reminded me of me when my Dad’s old ’62 would die and us kids would have to push him to start or get off the road.

I *love* the red convertible with the front hood integrated in the back part. But what’s the Mini doing in your photo with the VW sign formed by “Fuscas”? Did he get lost?
Jason, in Brazil you’ll see the weirdest Karmann Ghia campers, including “normal” camping trailers…

Looks like you guys got an award. If so, what did you get it for? Really great with the camshaft & all! Getting something like that, on your adventure, would be pretty special.

Hope you had a nice Turkey Day.

    Take care & have fun!

Mike & Maria – embarrassed to say that we don’t know what the award was for. Things were moving pretty fast and we were getting pulled in different directions and understanding very little! Best kombi? (Red Beard was shiny and getting lots of attention – Westies are unknown here) Farthest distance driven? Goofiest passengers?

Had to laugh . . . car shows are the same everywhere! Old airfield, people polishing their rides, guys looking at engines, pushing car races, awards made of engine parts, panorama shots of cars.
